How to do face sculpting step by step?

It’s no secret that with the help of sculpting, you can correct facial features – for example, make a wide face narrower, and elongated – round.

  1. Prepare skin, apply tone

Moisturize the skin and, if necessary, apply a primer. Spread foundation all over your face, and use concealer under your eyes.

  1. Highlight certain areas of the face

Light corrector should be applied to the T-zone: the central part of the forehead, the bridge of the nose and the bridge of the nose. Apply it under the eyes in the shape of a triangle. If there are small wrinkles on the nasolabial folds, go through the concealer in this place as well.

Since the model has a round face, with the help of sculpting it must be visually stretched and brought to an oval (the oval shape of the face is considered to be ideal). If you have a square or diamond-shaped face, the areas of highlighting remain the same – this is mainly the T-zone, the centre of the chin and the area under the eyes. Next, you need to apply a dark contouring agent to different areas, depending on what shape your face is.

  1. Darken certain areas of the face

If the face is round, draw a wide line under the cheekbones with a contouring agent – the dark shade should be exactly under the cheekbone and in no case go into the blush zone. The line should end in a triangle: in this case, you will visually correct the cheeks and draw out a round face.

For contouring, use a sculpting tool – it usually has a shade of cocoa, chocolate, or bronze. If you need to correct the shape of the face and wrinkle wand, contouring blush is not suitable: using pink or peach flowers, you cannot create the effect of your own shadow. In addition, blush is applied to other areas.

  1. The next step is to darken the lateral jawline.
  2. Do monochrome makeup

With the help of the sculptor, you can make monochrome (one that is made in one colour) makeup, if you apply it on the moving eyelid and in the crease.

  1. Apply blush

Go with a dark shade of the sculptor and along the sides of the nose. Then apply blush to the centre of the cheeks (if the texture is creamy, it can be applied to the lips too).

  1. Blend highlights

Start shading from the light areas.  The general rule is to shade the boundaries of the selected zones from the centre of the face to the contour.  Take a duo fibre brush and in a circular motion blend the pigment on the forehead from the centre to the edges.
